AlRoeya case study: Digital transformation

A newspaper, rebuilt for a new generation of readers.

AlRoeya: A newspaper, rebuilt for a new generation of readers.
AlRoeya
500,000+readers a month

The brief

What AlRoeya needed.

AlRoeya’s readers were mostly the older generation in the UAE, and the paper needed to earn back their trust. Its new direction was to reach younger readers, and that meant going from a printed newspaper to a digital news platform.

What we did

What we did for AlRoeya.

We started by understanding AlRoeya’s new direction and the younger audience it wanted. Then we led the move to digital:

  • managed the delivery of the new platform
  • created the new brand identity
  • worked with the editorial team so every post matched the new audience
  • ran social media, email marketing and digital ads to bring younger readers in
  • launched the platform

The result

500,000+ readers a month.

AlRoeya relaunched as a digital news platform, reaching at least 500,000 readers a month.
